"WILL I HAVE TO DIG?"
...seems to be the most frequently asked question. The answer would be, you will find specimens at most sites without digging, but may enjoy digging to find better, less weathered specimens. You may want to use a shovel to move dirt to a screen box at some sites.
To Dig or not to Dig...is really dependent on what you want to find. The more dirt you move, the more goodies you will find.
Heavy digging is not required to find specimens at our sites.
Under the RESERVATIONS link you will see specific rules and information for each site. Please read when setting up your reservation!
